Our 5 Core Values
We Help First
We must be ready to help others by teaching and showing—not judging or blaming. We know that there is never a stupid question. We are always open minded to the needs of others. We work to make sure when helping first, to solve the problem immediately at hand or provide a work around and then work to find the root of the issue to solve the problem forever.
“We cannot hold a torch to light another’s path without brightening our own.”
– Ben Sweetland
We Know Why
Before starting any task, we understand the purpose and what we need to accomplish. We do not work aimlessly. We must be translators of dreams and expectations into code and design. When we are given the starting point and the end point, we must fill in and communicate the details between the two points, so we know what we are delivering will provide value to our teammates and clients.
“Without reflection, we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences, and failing to achieve anything useful.”
– Margaret J. Wheatley
We Do the Work
Our work is taken seriously as clients and teammates expect that it is clean, professional, and free of errors. There will be times that resistance and complacency will poke their heads up and tease us with poorly designed shortcuts and easy ways out. We will be ready to embark ona battle against these. We must battle well and do it fast.
“Success is no accident. Itis hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”
Our Word is Our Bond
We know poor communication, missed deadlines, and slow responsesare unacceptable. We will minimize these as much as possible. We build lasting relationships with customers and teammates by making what’s important to them, important to us.
“Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters.”
– Albert Einstein
We Are Always Improving
Our industry is always evolving; we never stop evolving with it. We love building systems and we love tearing them apart so we can rebuild them better than before.
“Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.”
– Benjamin Franklin
